Character's Name: Lucius Malfoy

Character's Gender: Male

Character's Appearance: Lucius Malfoy takes almost as much pride in his appearance as he does in his Pure Bloodline, or what he believes to be a pure bloodline. His eyes are a "cold" gray and cruel, and may intensify the belief that the eyes are windows into the soul, which is no kind thing if he has no use for you. His face is pale, and so thin and angular that an outsider to his beloved Slytherin House may fear cutting himself on Lucius' jawbone. His hair is blonde, lighter in the summer and darker in the winter. He is reasonably tall at about 6'1 1/2" (not quite 6'2"), and has an athletic build. He is an attractive lady-killer sort. One might describe him as a jock. Lucius is in his 7th year, at 18 years of age.

Character's History: He has lived in Malfoy Manor since he was born. From a long line of well-bred wizards, work will never be a necessity, considering good fortune Dark Arts has brought his family wealth. Even so, he would like to be on the governing panel of Hogwarts eventually, as the "leadership" within has been nothing short of awful as long as Lucius has attended, and with a little say in Hogwarts related matters, perhaps he can sway opinions in favor of the Dark Arts (how can the Defense Against the Dark Arts be taught effectively without the understanding of how they work?). Secretly (that is, secretly outside of a close circle of Slytherin friends), he approves - read, "insists upon the use and worth" - of the Dark Arts and would not hesitate to Crucio the entire house of Gryffindor if they were worth it.

Two of Lucius "closest" friends (more like sidekicks; tagalongs; his "wingmen"), go mostly by their surnames - Crabbe and Goyle. They serve Malfoy's purposes, and don't tend to think for themselves unless forced.

Character's Personality: Lucius is the epitome of arrogance; do as he says or he won't hesitate to make your life hell. He sucks up well to authority, and has convinced instructors to put others in detention for his own wrongs. His attitude seems to be no problem, since he tends to get his way without a problem. He respects the family Black, even those who aren't fortunate enough to be Slytherins.

Lucius enjoys jazz, and lately tends toward "extreme" bands as well. He admires and practices art, mostly in private. He's a reasonable spellcaster, actually considers spellcasting in general art, and when it comes to the Dark Arts, his interest is there and his wand at the ready.

Lucius respects his wife, Narcissa Renee Black Malfoy, and few others. By and large, even other pureblooded wizards and witches piss him off with their various annoying nuances. If Lucius isn't trying to piss you off, you are a lucky bastard.
